A Hollywood veteran, Richard Chapman has produced hundreds of hours of network television as well as the feature films “My Fellow Americans” (1996) and “Live From Baghdad” (2002), and the documentary “Dateline-Saigon” (2020). In “Professor’s Past Life: Richard Chapman,” which student Sanchali Pothuru filmed and produced over the last year, Chapman describes how he broke into the business, the challenges of bidding wars and the mysterious interplay of luck and hard work.

Since 1973, WILD has been an annual tradition at Washington University in St. Louis, bringing together students for a night of unforgettable performances. To celebrate 2023's Golden WILD, the 50th anniversary of the event's inception, we look back at the history and impact of WILD over the years, exploring how it has evolved over the decades to become a beloved campus tradition. From its early start as a film festival to its current night concert premise, WILD has featured some of the biggest names in music, including Chuck Berry, A Tribe Called Quest, OutKast, and Childish Gambino to name just a few.

When the professors go away, students come out to play. Every night, members of Washington University in St. Louis’ 400-plus student groups and nearly 500 intramural and club sport teams fill campus classrooms, studios, common spaces and fields to perform, practice, publish, build and compete.
